We have a female Great Pyrenees who will be one this June. She seems to have some sensitive skin issues so we took her to the vet and they gave her an antibiotic and antihistamine the last time she started to form scabs on her skin on her belly mostly. We also switched her food to the Blue Buffalo and we make sure she is given her monthly flea/tick medication every month. The sores are back again and this time they're cover large parts of her skin. The sores look similar to ringworm and…

Well we've made it thru his first year and though frustrating I wouldn't trade him for the world. He's 17 months old now at 125 lbs and as much part of the family as anyone else in the house. We made it thru his being a bully .....finally think he's figured out that grabbing us, is not the best way to get us to play with him. Within her first month she had been spade (she was still lactating), had the heartworm treatment, and who knows what else.
So here is my problem: She is wide. She doesn't have squishy fat, she's firm and wide. She has no access to other food, we…

Well Vinny has turned into a big bully as he's gotten bigger and any advice would be greatly appreciated. He uses his weight to push us around and will lay on you or sit on you even if you don't want it. He's still pretty mouth with hands and feet, even though we've tried the hand down the throat and even tried tabasco sauce. He is getting ready to turn 8 months and we don't "allow" this behaviour, but the nightly wrestling or pushing matches are getting tiring and at times we end up…

Merry Christmas to you all.
I thought that some pictures from you over the years would be good this year. The crucifix from Peru has a nativity scene for you to enjoy. We miss Jack Magoffin now. He is pictured here at Christmas 2008. Thanks to Marion, Ans, and Lynn for their pictures.
May the blessings of the Christ child be upon you all this next year.
