A very late note!  But one I wanted to say.  The thrill of my life occurred this year with my Pyrs.  We won our national specialty among many friends that I have met in the dog show world over a very relative short period of time really, when compared to others.  Not breeding, but showing.

Our 5 month old Pyr. won't stop barking in the car everytime we leave!  We are on a big road trip from Colorado to Georgia and it is painful getting out to get something to eat!  We exercise and love on him plenty!  We have the "Thunder Shirt", we think it may keep him from barking, but he his totally freaking out and panting like crazy when we get back, then sits in my lap for the next mile or two until he can calm down......and killing the car in the meantime!  Anyone have any suggestions?…

Hi there! I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on why my pup keeps sitting in the middle of our walks? Morning, noon, or night!!! We will walk a bit and all of the sudden he will stop and sit. I have treats on me, so I have to say "touch" and then "this way", sometimes he listens and sometimes not. I have to wait and be the stubborn one, which is difficult when I am in a hurry! He is def. not tired, it usually happens first thing in the morning and last time out at night! Thoughts?
