This group is for everone with interests in art, writing, photography, videography, etc. We have some well known artists and writers already in our community In some cases they are both artists and writers. We look to Great Pyrenees related poetry in this group as well.
For your information the painting on the group thumbnail is by Rosa Bonheur titled Berger des Pyrenees (Pyrenees Shepherd). It was done in 1880 and is presently in the collection at the Musee Conde at Chantilly, France.

I am not an artist, but a friend of me is a good painter with her own "style" .......
She made me a portrait of my 3 Pyrs, which do not live anymore.
It is in my livingroom, so they still join us every day ......

Well, wouldn't you know it, I'm on my husband's computer and he doesn't have any Pyr art on it. I uploaded a drawing we did for our last book (which makes us both writers and artists) "Secrets to Drawing Realistic Children." We have put Pyr art in our other books as well.
Best wishes,
Carrie Stuart Parks

Hmmm..... I found some more which I did some time ago. Also in traditional China painting. The painting is done on white china and applied in several layers. After each layer the work goes in a kiln where it is fired up to 800 degree celsius.

these two are pins or broches, appr. 5" x 1,5"

this one can be hung on the wall or placed on a miniature eazel
