- I love animals and have a lot of pets beside our 11 year old Pyr Monty.

- I looove to live together with animals, be friends with them. Monty is our 3rd dog.
Before him we had 2 St Bernards Nestor and Rasko.
Later I'll knit a sweater of it as a remembrance of my dear furry friend.

Monty's 12th birthday
Today it's Monty's birthday. Our friend turned 12 today!!!
We're proud and thankful that he's still with us in good health.

Today Monty is 11 and a half year old!!!!
I spoiled him with a large bowl of spaghetti which is his absolute most favourite meal.
Hang in for another 2 months my sweet furry friend and you will be the oldest dog we ever had!!!

I have a friend who raises a coyote. She had his fur spun and knitted gloves from them. She's says they are THE warmest thing she's ever worn and practically waterproof too! I've been wanting to do the same with some of Ayla's coat. Where do you go about finding someone to spin the yarn? Ohhh, scarf, gloves, hat...*LOL*

- Hi Anke, I used to save Cara's fur - but could not find anyone to spin it. Now it's bagged & binned !! It seems a waste as it's just like cotton wool. Cara always looks for an escape route ! so that's not her happy face your seeing. I cant wait to see your finished spun balls of wool !! :-))

- Thanks Anke! Just got back from vacation last night and I'm off to pick up Tila. Europe was great, I didn't want to come back...and everyone on bicycles in Vienna (nice and orderly and in place) and totally free range tram, people walking, cars, and bikes all vying for the same piece of road in Amsterdam was a hoot! Urs said… - So sad to hear this. I had the same with Stacey who I had to let go in January. She was 10 years an 3 months old. At the last 2 days she could not get up at all with her hind legs. She also had severe HD [HD D] and was on supplements for her hips from the age of 20 months and the last year also on anabolics to keep her muscles strong. She only showed signs of weekness the last year of her live. I never expected that she reached the age of 10 because of the bad hips.
