Not from most countries in Europe, Joe. Postal costs are (much) more expensive over here. The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany are the most expensive (over 150 % from USA fees), followed by France. Not sure about the UK and the Scandinavian countries...

- Great Pyrenees / Pyrenean Mountain Dog / le Chien de Montagne des Pyrénées, or shortly called "Patou" by the local Pyrenees people.
- About Me: Tell us a bit about yourself and your interest in animals
- Interested in the breed since the lat sixties. The first Great Pyrenees who came to live with us was a female puppy from the first litter to be born in the Netherlands since 1955.
So started a love affair that survives to this day.
I go to places all over the world to learn more about this so special breed. I attend big events, like the 3 Worldconferences, or I go to visit friends in different parts of the world who have Great Pyrenees!
I have been presenting on dogshows my own dogs in 15 different countries all over Europe, and handled GPs in the showring for friends all over the world.
I attend, by presenting my own dogs or just as a visitor, the "Nationale d'Élevage" in France since 1981 and missed only one.
It was great fun for the last 5 years to present my female Multi Champion "Rosée du Néouvielle". She became Champion in 13 different European countries, as well as International and Nordic Champion. She also was several times Best Bitch on European Specialty Shows and BOB at Crufts.

AMSTERDAM WINNERSHOW 2008 and a little history
This biggest event on dogshows in the Netherlands is organized by KNK "Cynophilia".
This club was founded April 1, 1890 and the oldest Club for all breeds in the Netherlands.
The first president was the wellknown "H.A. Graaf van Bylandt" (a.k.a. H.A.Comte de Bylandt), their first exposition was held within 6 months in Scheveningen.

I still wanted to say how great it is what you are doing for the Australian breeder. The website you made is so emotional. It gives me chills everytime.
I hope that you will collect a lot of stuff and money for them. Altough that will never cover for what they really lost.

I will collect Bettiina next weekend. Bettiina will not stay with me but will be very close to me. She will start living with a family who has an old Spanish Mastiff.
Three pups are still available: Bestseller, Betruska and Bumerangi - next week they will tun 7 months old. The weekend I am in Finland I and Pirjo will make some proper standing photos of the available pups.
