Hi Tina,

thanks for the welcome! I was the foster mom for Maryanne's Boudica, and fostered her Maeve's mother as well. I always wrote a long letter when returning a foster so the new family would know routines, habits, likes / dislikes etc... and always included our contact information hoping their forever families would like to keep in touch, or get together, as we always fell in love with our fosters and wanted to see their happy ever afters... Maryanne was the only one who ever did, and we became fast friends.

I was always a little frustrated at the humane society who made us return fosters before we thought they were ready Ie/ Maryanne's story of E-coli, and ear infections, but I guess they don't have the time or the resources to deal with.... and once they made us return a foster pyr who we spent months fattening up because they supposedly had 3 families interested....when we returned a litter of foster kittens a week later, we saw a dog walker walking our Bella, who had stopped eating upon return to the shelter....we made a scene in the lobby asking why they didn't call us to take her back when the adoption fell through, but to no avail.... we then fostered for another organization, but ended up adopting one of our fosters!!! We need a much bigger acreage, and to win the lottery!!!! I would have a rescue sanctuary and dog park!!!

We haven't fostered for a while now, but with 8 critters, our house is pretty full. 5 of our babies are fosters we couldn't give up...only Phoebe my first dog and 2 of my cats were intentional adoptions.

I'll get some photos up shortly and am totally loving the pyr overload since joining !

Thank you. Though we have yet to name her, we're really excited to have a Pyrenees. Any suggestions for a name?

Thank you very mutch, Cimba have had a lovely present for all his "good result" in exposition ( I am joking).
Elendil is a very nice puppy, she is 2 month old, and Cimba fell in love.
